Karen Hughes

For almost three years Karen Hughes tried to enhance the image of the united states on the global sphere. This year she resigned from her position in the public diplomacy. when hearing Karen's decision, both Bush and Rice have agreed that she really helped the US public opinion and achieved many targeted goals.
As Rice states "knew that she would bring a great dedication and great commitment to all that we're trying to do," Rice said. "She has done just a remarkable job."
Hughes has tried but could not have a full success in enhancing the american image especillay because of the failure of the Iraq war that was not perceived well by different countries especially Arab ones.

Concerning the three strategic goals of the US Public Diplomacy, we have:

1. Transmitting and enhancing a good image of USA
2. Sharing the story of America with the rest of the world
3. Demonstrating the American and Global values abroad.
